This certification recognizes their exceptional expertise and contributions to economic development in the Valley.
Wilaj, director of the Mahoning Valley Logistics Council, dedicated his capstone project to conducting an in-depth analysis of the logistics industry in the Valley, with a special focus on vehicle electrification. His comprehensive research and invaluable insights have shed light on the state of the logistics industry and its potential for growth and innovation in our region. Wilaj's focus on the strengths and shortcomings of our region will greater assist our private and public infrastructure in implementing strategies to better handle disruptors like automation and electrification.
Maiorano, director of Workforce Development, spearheaded the creation of the region's workforce coalition as the centerpiece of her capstone project. Her strategic vision and unwavering dedication have led to the establishment of a collaborative and impactful platform that bridges the gap between employers and job seekers. Maiorano's tireless efforts in cultivating partnerships and implementing forward-thinking initiatives will play a crucial role in shaping a robust and resilient workforce ecosystem in our region.
