Among a crowd of 500 at Waypoint 4180 this evening, Dr. Nicolette Powe, associate professor of Public Health/Public Health Scientist, Dept. of Graduate Studies in Health & Rehabilitation Sciences at Youngstown State University, was named the recipient of the 2024 ATHENA Award, presented by the Regional Chamber and The Vindicator/Vindy.com.

The Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber is pleased to announce that Brenda J. Linert has joined its team as the director of Government Affairs & Community Impact. In this role, she primarily will oversee some of the organization’s economic development and quality-of-life priorities, such as its efforts to grow the Valley’s population.

The Regional Chamber’s Board of Directors has named nine new members, as well as officers, for 2024, and also reappointed several members to new terms.
