Ohio Governor Mike DeWine, Lt. Governor Jim Tressel, and Ohio Department of Development Director Lydia Mihalik today announced that Ohio will establish a new Innovation Hub in Youngstown to advance additive manufacturing technology in support of the national defense industry.

The Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber and Ohio Chamber of Commerce announce the expansion of a dynamic program that provides business leaders with professional development and networking opportunities into the Youngstown-Warren region.

The Mahoning Valley Regional STEM Ecosystem has been selected to join the Global STEM Ecosystems Initiative, a worldwide movement that brings together leaders from education, business, government, and community organizations to develop high-quality STEM learning opportunities. Through strategic partnerships, the Ecosystem will create powerful STEM learning experiences that happen everywhere - in classrooms, afterschool programs, museums, businesses, and community spaces.

The Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber, in partnership with Huntington, HBK, Roetzel & Andress and JFS Wealth Advisors, will honor 19 family-owned businesses Feb. 27 at the Valley’s fourth annual Family-Owned Business Recognition Dinner at The Lake Club in Poland.
