The Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber is pleased to announce the addition of Chuck Rudge as director of Events and Gabrielle Jones as the development and program coordinator for Leadership Mahoning Valley, Center for Nonprofit Excellence and the Regional Chamber Foundation.
In his role, Rudge will oversee all aspects of the 100+ events the Regional Chamber holds each year, from planning, logistics and production, to ensuring the greatest experience possible for our members and attendees. He will also lead the efforts of the Mahoning Valley Safety Council—the largest chamber-affiliated safety council in the State of Ohio—and work to create and launch new events in 2024 and beyond.
“We are excited to welcome Chuck to the Events team,” said Kim Calvert, senior vice present of Marketing & Membership Services. “His years of experience in the event planning realm have resulted in a level of expertise that will enable him to take our events to the next level.”
Rudge, a Boardman resident and graduate, was the marketing services manager at Werner Co. in Greenville, Pa., for nearly 10 years, overseeing the daily operations of the commercial marketing department and planning corporate events around trade shows and the company’s sponsorship of the NCAA Final 4 Tournament. He also held positions at Farris Marketing and Park Vista Retirement Community. Rudge received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Sport Management and Business Marketing from the University of Mount Union.
Jones will provide administrative and programmatic support to the executive director in growing the Leadership Mahoning Valley Program and establishing the new Center for Nonprofit Excellence. She will also provide administrative support to the president of the Regional Chamber Foundation.
JoAnn Stock, executive director of Leadership Mahoning Valley and the Center for Nonprofit Excellence, said, “We are thrilled to have Gabrielle join the team. Her knowledge, experience and commitment to the Mahoning Valley will be a tremendous asset as we continue to grow and expand these important programs.”
Jones earned her Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degrees, as well as a Certificate in Nonprofit Leadership, from Youngstown State University. The Howland resident has always been interested in pursuing a career in the nonprofit sector, specifically serving the Mahoning Valley.
