JobsNow Workforce Initiative
The Regional Chamber’s JobsNow workforce initiative was created to help close the gap between the demand for skilled labor and the supply of workforce-ready employees in the Valley by publicizing available jobs, connecting qualified workers to those positions and attracting talent to the area.
If you have utilized the Regional Chamber's JobsNow program, we encourage you to share your thoughts HERE.
Publicizing available jobs
Program partner WKBN promotes in-demand jobs and openings on weekly news telecasts. Designed to reach a wide range of the employable population, the segments make the public aware of current job opportunities and prompt them to contact the company to apply.
Reducing Hiring Costs
Drug testing is available to Chamber-member businesses for their potential applicants at no cost to the employer through Steward WorkMed. This process will ensure eligibility of potential employees and allow employers to efficiently and effectively fulfill workforce demands.
Attracting Talent
Attracting qualified and capable human capital to the Valley is often difficult for many employers in the community. We can help encourage out-of-area applicants to move to the Valley in order to fulfill the workforce demands of Chamber-member businesses.
Is your company hiring?

Thank you for your efforts in helping us in our search for a seamstress. Your referral to Dave Sess & JobsNOW has lead us to a nice lady that we brought onboard and a couple of other potential candidates.
-Ray and Jeff Morelli, Morelli Upholstery
This segment helped us recruit qualified candidates and brought positive community awareness to our facility. Allowing us to showcase our facility and the positions needed has drawn positive attention while also attracting local talent. Since the segment aired, we’ve hired 17 candidates.
-Jarrod Harris, Director of Human Resources, Belmont Pines Hospital
The week after our segment aired, we received 48 qualified applicants, and [this] was a great boost to our recruiting efforts! It gave us an opportunity to reach out to the community during the local newscast and speak directly to the audience about our operations, skills required and employee testimonials. This is a great service provided as a member of the Regional Chamber and helps connect Valley residents with great job opportunities.
