The Regional Chamber hosts more than 100 programs each year designed to help companies improve and grow operations and build strong professional networks. Small business and human resources seminars, as well as Mahoning Valley Safety Council luncheons, provide valuable training for business leaders interested in improving their bottom line, complying with state and federal legislation and reducing risk to themselves and their employees. The Chamber’s Marketplace and Business After Hours Mixers are opportunities for members to network in a fun, relaxed environment, all the while marketing their businesses, products and services. Our Programs team also hosts such special events as the From Steel To Scholars Luncheon, the ATHENA Awards, Salute To Business, Economic Forecast and the Regional Chamber Annual Meeting and Spirit Awards, in addition to the Business Showcase, the largest trade show between Cleveland and Pittsburgh. Are you celebrating a grand opening, relocation or business expansion? At the Chamber, we like to mark these important moments with a ribbon cutting. You pick the date, and we’ll guide you as you plan. We’ll even send out a press release announcing your special event to the media. And when the big day arrives, we’ll show up with the ribbon and scissors to help you make the most of it. If it’s a grand opening you’re celebrating, you’ll also receive a voucher for a free “grand opening” banner. We also publish a photo from your ribbon cutting in Valley Magazine, our bi-monthly magazine that reaches approximately 10,000 Mahoning Valley residents and professionals.
The Chamber provides an array of business services, including access to human resource materials and training programs; marketing services, such as access to our membership database for strategic and targeted mailing lists and labels, and consultations with our marketing and communications staff; and exposure on the Chamber website, where your business or organization will have its own static page featuring contact information, details about what you do, your company logo and a link to your website if available.
