U.S. Rep. Tim Ryan will talk about the economy, jobs, healthcare and his outlook for 2010 when he speaks at this Regional Chamber luncheon, hosted by the Chamber’s Government Affairs Council.

Ryan is in his fourth term in the U.S. House of Representatives, serving the 17th Congressional District. As a member of the powerful House Appropriations Committee, the Congressman has obtained more than $125 million for the 17th District to assist in job growth and other district needs. He is also a member of the Democratic Steering and Policy Committee, which is responsible for nominating Democratic members to serve on House Committees and advising the Speaker of the House on policy. With all of these impressive appointments, the Congressman’s primary focus remains on the economy and quality of life of his Northeast Ohio congressional district.
