Local professionals, we need you to nominate your business for the 18th Annual Mahoning Valley Growth Awards recognizing the success and vitality of our Valley's companies. Companies that excel in any one of the designated categories will be honored at the Annual Mahoning Valley Growth Awards Breakfast on Thursday, October 12, 2010 at the Mr. Anthony’s Banquet Center on South Avenue in Boardman.
Presented by Youngstown State University’s Williamson College of Business Administration and the Regional Chamber, the Mahoning Valley Growth Awards showcase a company’s progress and enhance visibility with customers and the business community. These Awards recognize:
- Mahoning Valley companies that are growing in sales, employees and/or exports.
- New companies that are less than four years old.
- Companies with outstanding human resource development programs.
This prestigious awards process is open to all for-profit businesses in the Mahoning, Trumbull and Columbiana counties and all Regional Chamber members. Awards will be presented in the following categories:
- Percentage increase in sales
- Percentage increase in employees
- Percent increase in export sales
- Emerging Business (growth in sales/employees, less than 4 years old)
- Human Resource Development
Applications must be submitted by Friday, September 8, 2010. Download a PDF nomination form and mail or email the applications directly to Dr. Betty Jo Licata, dean, Williamson College of Business Administration at YSU. Specific financial and employment information is kept confidential and is used only by the dean to calculate percentage increases. Human Resource Development Award applications are reviewed by a committee.
