Youngstown-Warren, Ohio residents have access to excellent health care. Akron Children's Hospitial-Mahoning Valley, Humility of Mary Health Partners, ValleyCare Health System, Sharon Regional Health System, UPMC Horizon have full-service hospitals and emergency care as well as various diagnositic, urgent care and surgical support facilities.
Along with hospital services, there are 1,316 physician and diagnostic offices, 55 nursing homes and assisted living facilities and 253 social care agencies to assist residents with health care issues.

In addition, St. Elizabeth Health Center is the area’s only ACS verified, Level 1 Adult and Pediatric trauma center. Two other hospitals, St. Joseph Health Center and Trumbull Memorial Hospital, are rated Ohio Provisional Adult Level 3 trauma centers.
Regional Health Care
U.S. News and World Report recently ranked the Cleveland Clinic as one of the top five hospitals in the nation. Other hospitals within a 75-mile radius that were named among the top 20 nationwide in specific categories are: Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, Magee-Women’s Hospital, University Hospitals of Cleveland and University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
